At 11 Honoré, our mission is to help more women experience the best designer clothing and help celebrate and honor their bodies, beauty, and style. Making those clothes available for the first time ever in sizes 10 through 20 is only the first step in achieving this mission. Here's an overview of some features on our website that will help take the guesswork out of finding the right size.
Before we put a garment up in our store, our in-house stylist has a fitting session to see how that garment fits and looks on a real woman. She compares the labelled size with actual size and takes detailed notes from the fitting session. We make these fit notes available on every product detail page, to help you have the best information possible when looking for just the right outfit.
While we are compiling these fit notes, we are also measuring many of our garments, and uploading designer- and style-specific measurement charts so you can compare your own unique measurements and get the size that fits you the way you want.
One of the most important items we put in our fit notes is whether items run small or large. If, after our fitting session, our stylist determines that most customers should buy a size larger or smaller than they usually buy in any item, we want to make sure that's very clear to all our customers, not just those customers who read all the Fit Notes. For those styles, when you start selecting a size, we show a message to make sure you know
All of our product collection and search pages include filter menus so you can filter results by price, category, or size.
When you are filtering based on size, we don’t just look at the labelled size for that particular style, but we are taking into account our stylist’s recommendation of which styles run large, and which run small. So, when you are searching for a US size 16, we will include size 18s that run small, and size 14s that run large. We are also including styles that use international sizing, based on the size equivalency chart here:
