The Spring Trends Worth Investing In

The Spring Trends Worth Investing In

by Liz Black

We’ve always found it fascinating how trends emerge during New York Fashion Week. Is it something in the sartorial zeitgeist? Or is it all coincidental? (Cue the Twilight Zone music) Regardless of what causes this fashion phenomenon, it’s clear that some very specific styles materialize each season. Here are the key runway trends for Spring 2019 truly worth investing in.

Animal Print

Florals may not be groundbreaking for spring, but what about animal print? We saw the fierce style stalking the catwalk this season, giving us a perfect excuse to unleash our wild side this season.

Metallic & Chrome

Definitely not a flash in the pan, we totally took a shine to this futuristic-yet-now trend. Metallics sparkled and shimmered everywhere, while solidly silver-toned chrome gave polish to even the sportiest styles.

Vibrant Colors

Get ready to break out your shades this season, because the future's looking bright; especially with all the vibrant hues that burst down the runway. Store away those pastels for now and embrace the bold; from fiery fuschia and not-so-mellow highlighter-bright yellow to red-haute crimson and freshly-picked orange.

Flowy Fabrics

Who doesn’t love to feel easy, breezy, but still chic? If the runways were any indication, flowy dresses and skirts are everywhere for spring. So effortless, these throw-on-and-go designs take the guesswork out of dressing and will leave you feeling like an absolute goddess.

Fringe Benefits

Western-inspired dramatic fringe lassoed our attention, but the fine fringe equally found a place in our fashion-focused hearts. Either way, we’re looking forward to all the twirly boomerangs we’ll be taking come spring.
