Louise Vyent

Louise Vyent

by Melissa Magsaysay

During the 1990s, the decade when true supermodels reigned, Louise Vyent was a name that may not have registered right along side Christy, Linda and Naomi, but she was a ubiquitous and in demand face that pre-dated those Supers by a few years and made as much of an impact of fashion and media as those women ever did.

Having appeared in Sports Illustrated, Victoria's Secret and on the covers of Vogue, Glamour and Harpers Bazaar, the Dutch born beauty helped set the tone for more diversity in fashion and now in her early 50s is back to continue making the industry a more inclusive place.

Now a life coach and beautifully settled into her size, Vyent advises people about balance and acceptance. Here, she discusses her career comeback and what it means to be modeling again 20 plus years later.
