The Pioneering Supermodel who set Size-Inclusivity in Motion

She’s been called the “Godmother” of the plus size community by O magazine and among the 50 most beautiful people in world (twice) by People, and to anyone lucky enough to sit down with the supermodel, Emme for a few hours, it’s clear she is both of these things plus a truly powerful player in the size inclusive movement.

Through her effervescent presence and personality Emme is able to captivate her audience (whether that’s a national talk show or a small hotel New York hotel room) and deliver her inspiring message about supporting and empowering women.

Her career is mind blowing in so many ways and she shows no signs of stopping. Emme’s recent return to modeling with her agency Iconic Focus has included multiple campaigns and her first walk down a New York Fashion Week runway (for swimwear brand, Chromat). But the jewel in the crown of her impressive body of work is Fashion Without Limits, a program the model launched in 2014 at her alma mater Syracuse University, which gives design students the skills to create in a size inclusive capacity.

Here, Emme sits down with 11 Honore to discuss how the time is now for the fashion industry to step up and start including everyone regardless of size or age.
