As Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg once said, “Time is on the side of change.” We luckily now live in a world where more and more women are taking their lives into their own hands. Here, we spotlight seven female entrepreneurs to follow on Instagram that will motivate you to pursue your own dreams despite any and all obstacles.

Iris Apfel

Apfel and her late husband launched a massively success luxury fabric and design business in 1950, working with nine of the former first ladies on interior projects for the White House. It was later in life that the always-bespectacled Apfel found fame in the style world, even having an exhibit in her honor at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2005. Scroll through her Instagram feed to see her singular fashion looks.

Barbara Corcoran

Known as one of the “Sharks” on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank and the founder of real estate empire The Corcoran Group, Corcoran took out a $1,000 loan in 1973 to start her own company and eventually sold it in 2001 for $66 million. Bookmark her Instagram quotes for a quick boost of motivation.

Payal Kadakia Pujji

After spending hours trying to find the right dance class in New York City, Pujji had the idea to create what would eventually become ClassPass, a monthly membership that allows users to book a variety of fitness classes and wellness experiences. Pujji’s Instagram is chockfull of inspiring quotes from people she looks up to, along with photos of her doing Bollywood-style dancing.

Nely Galán

Galán rose through the television ranks to become the first Latina President of Entertainment for a U.S. television network at Telemundo, is an Emmy Award-winning producer of over 700 episodes of television in English and Spanish, and founded the nonprofit The Adelante Movement to encourage Latina women to become entrepreneurs. Issa Rae

Rae first garnered attention with her self-created web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, which served as inspiration for her hit HBO comedy show Insecure. As the co-creator, co-writer, and star of the show, the series follows Rae and her best friend as they navigate life in Los Angeles as two young black women. Swoon over her Instagram photos that serve up #bossbabe vibes.
